C.R. Jakobson street in Rakvere designed by KLM Projekt has been built 

The reconstruction of C.R. Jakobson street and Parkali square near popular Aqva Spa in Rakvere was finished this Autumn. The reconstruction of C.R. Jakobson street and Parkali square was one of the biggest road construction projects in Rakvere in 2020.

Following the detailed design project the pedestrian area of Parkali street was extended towards Pikk street to provide pedestrians smooth connections and more space for walking. C.R. Jacobson street was redesigned between Pihlaka cafe and Kastani roundabout for more logical traffic flows. The parking spaces around Aqva Spa were also redesigned.

In the design project of C.R. Jakobson street and Parkali square we envisaged the use of different pavement types to make the area visually more attractive. The project also envisaged a new landscape design for the whole area. Green areas with trees and bushes as well as several resting places were planned by the side of C.R. Jakobson street and on Parkali square. The whole area has a new and improved look and better ease of use for pedestrians and drivers after the reconstruction.

The detailed design for the reconstruction of C.R. Jakobson street and Parkali square street was completed by KLM Projekt in 2019.
